Micro Ducts DB

Direct Bury (DB) As per the Direct Insert product, but with a heavy duty orange coloured HDPE sheath making the product suitable for direct burial. For the Sheath removal use Rotational Sheath Stripper (Radial), product code 7071 and Sheath Cutter (longitudinal), product code 7001. The inner sheath is removed using the internal ripcord Name (EN) Tube OD/ID Assembly OD.

Micro Fibre blowhead (ACBE1)

The fibreflow, fibre blowing equipment provides maximum blowing distances. The blowing unit has an electronic buckle detector and is used for installing 2, 4, 8 and 12 fibres into microducts from 3mm to 8mm.

Fibre Unit

Various modes of fibres set to specification MHT 1403, is set in a buffer layer providing excellent dimensional and thermal stability. The outer thermoplastic layer provides a high level of protection and excellent installatio properties. The units is designed for blowing into FibreFlow micro ducts and tube bundles. The fibres are dry, not coated with gel, thrus permitting fast and contamination-free connections. Availeble in G651 Multimode and G652 Single Mode types.

Y-TDC

Y-Branch A compact light-weight closure developed for a range of applications including Fibre-to-the-Home. The Y-Branch has been developed for blown fiber in a Direct Bury application. fibreflow microducts of either 3mm or 5mm diameter are placed into the Y-Branch where they can be branched off into single microducts. Depending on the tube diameter used, up to six microducts can emerge from each closure. The Y-Branch can be used at several locations in the networks and therefore creates greater network flexibility.

Manifold

24-way DB 5mm Input connected to 24-way DB Output (Straight), 24-way DB 5mm Input connected to 24 x 1-way DB Output or 19-way DB 5mm Input connected to 19 x 1-way DB Output. Tube Distribution Manifold (TDM) Designed specifically for blown fibre networks, Emtelle’s Tube Distribution Manifold (TDM) provides a robust, securely sealed closure at those points in a network where multi-way tube bundles have to be split for distribution to individual destinations.

TDC

The new Tube Distribution Closure (TDC) is a one-box solution that can be used in a variety of applications, including Fibre-to-the-Home, Business Parks, In-Building, Metropolitan Networks and Campus Builds. As part of the fibreflow solution, the TDC can of course handle the majority of fibreflow network designs. The TDC has been especially designed as a multi-purpose closure to cover a variety of applications such as single tube connections to buildings, up to 38mm tube bundle connections and tube break-out in H, T and Y configurations.

H Branch Closure

This is an environmentally sealed closure for outside fibre management in the network. The product is a cold applied re-usable closure. Features - 4 ports: 2 at each end - IP68 rated - re-enterable - suitable for fibre unit and minicable installations Specifications Dimensions: Overall length 470mm (18.5”), Overall width 210mm (8.2”) (Working envelope 280mm (11”) x 135mm (5.3”)) Port capacity: 45mm (1.7”)
