TDC

The new Tube Distribution Closure (TDC) is a one-box solution that can be used in a variety of applications, including Fibre-to-the-Home, Business Parks, In-Building, Metropolitan Networks and Campus Builds. As part of the fibreflow solution, the TDC can of course handle the majority of fibreflow network designs. The TDC has been especially designed as a multi-purpose closure to cover a variety of applications such as single tube connections to buildings, up to 38mm tube bundle connections and tube break-out in H, T and Y configurations. As well as being able to branch off single microducts, the TDC can also be used with different adaptors for 19 way, 12 way and 7 way 5mm tube bundles and 24 way 3mm tube bundles. No jointing is required at each branching point, which saves considerable time, reduces costs for extra connectors and minimizes the risk of fibre getting stuck in a badly fitted connector. In addition, we offer a 6-way grommet that allows up to six single DB microducts to be branched from a single port. The TDC can also be deployed as a repair closure if only a few tubes have been damaged.
